Lives in coastal rocky substrate, usually with vegetation. Consumes small invertebrates plucked from rocks. Maximum size: 250 mm TL.
Distribution
Western Indian Ocean : Persian Gulf to the Red Sea and immigrated via the Suez Canal to the Mediterranean Sea.
